These photographs chronicle my road trip up US-395 in the Eastern Sierra during the last week of March 2026. Adventures included a chance meeting with the father of the author of one of my favorite books (Kendra Atleework's Miracle Country), a good Samaritan who gave me a quart of oil in Death Valley after my car ran dry, meeting the YouTuber Jim Fox as we were both photographing the Cyclops Arch, and hiking in three miles to see the Bodie Ghost Town and having the place to myself! I'm still coming off of the high.
